We’ve had a bit of a week of embracing new technology. Such are the needs of a business in a pandemic in the 21st century! Today we went live on Instagram and Facebook for the first time to talk about our crochet heart craftivism campaign. You can find our free pattern here and we’d like to encourage you to make one or more hearts to hang on a neighbour’s gate, post to a much missed family member or friend or to hang on your mirror to remind yourself that times are tough at the moment, but you are wonderful and will get through this.
We have also had a lovely chat with Amanda Hannaford who will be teaching Spindle Spinning and Spin to Knit online for The Loom Shed. She’s such a lovely person and so easy to talk to, I hope that you enjoy our chat about her textile heroes, what craft she learnt first and the all important tea or coffee question!
