We’ve got lambs in the field next to the car park, and a new patch of soil by the front door so we are busy planning a dye plant garden and maybe even some strawberries in a tin bath.
We’ve had a busy couple of weeks planning the next few online events, we’ve got a really interesting talk coming up (May 12th )with Brigitte from BeeKay Makes. She is going to talk to us about nettle fibre and give a demonstration of how to harvest and spin the fibres. You can find booking details here.
Louise and I had a great chat with her earlier in the week for our ‘ The Loom Shed in Conversation with…’ series and you can watch us talk looms, nettles and tea rituals here.
We are also really excited that Angie Parker will be hosting a back strap weaving class for us on May 1st. Angie is a weaver who is well known for her use of colour and it looks set to be a really amazing class. Read all about it here
We’ve still got a couple of spaces left on the Spin to Knit Course with Amanda Hannaford, so if you’d like to be able to spin with a specific yarn in mind, this is definitely the course for you.
